INTERCESSION PRAYER

Let us intersect with God

James 5:16 says let us pray for one another… The prayer of righteous
person has grate power.

Leader: Let us pray for justice and peace.
O God, who would fold both heaven and earth in a single peace, Let the design of your great love lighten upon the waste of our wraths and sorrows and give peace to your Church, peace among nations, peace in our dwellings, and peace in our hearts

Lord in your mercy
All: Hear our prayer.

Leader: Let us pray for Harmony of all people.
Heavenly Father, we pray for harmony of all people, remove of all that
divides us from each other. Bring us to the harmony and unity given by your
Spirit, and make us one in praising God with you.

Leader: Let’s pray for all who engaged in agriculture, industry and commerce, for all workers skilled and unskilled, and for all those who defend our country.
Lord we pray for all the workers fill them with physical and spiritual
energy. Guide them with your wisdom and Help them to work through every
challenges and conflicts.

Lord in your mercy
All: Hear our prayer.

Leader: Let’s continue to pray for teachers and students, scientist, artist and writers, and for all who influence the minds and hearts of others.
Heavenly Father, You have told us if anyone lacks the knowledge and
wisdom that we need. We ought to ask you in faith. Because you have promised
to give liberally to all who come to you. We come to you to ask for that precious
gift of wisdom and knowledge. Enlighten their understanding and provide them
with the knowledge that they need each day.

Lord in your mercy
All: Hear our prayer.

Leader: Lets pray for those who are suffering, the poor and hungry, the destitute
and oppressed, the unemployed, the sick and dying.
Loving God, I pray that you will comfort the people those who are
in suffering in various problems. Give them confidence in the power of your
grace, that even when they afraid, they may put their whole trust in you

All: Hear our Prayers

Leader: lets pray for all to whom authority is entrusted in this and other countries,
and especially for our president, the Prime Minister, The governor and chief
Minister of this state, and for all who have power over other people.
Lord we pray for our leaders to show them love, grace, strength, and
encouragement. Provide them with the knowledge needed to approach each
situation in the best way possible. Help them to know you and see your presence
in the work they do. And, God, give them the stamina to approach each day and
to find a balance between work and life so that they would be sustained.

All: Hear our prayer.

Leader: Let’s pray for the unity of all Christian people, and for their witness and
service in the world.
Eternal Father, we praise you for sending your Son to be one of us and to
save us. Look upon your people with mercy, for we are divided in so many ways,
and give us the Spirit of Jesus to make us one in love. We ask this gift, loving
Father

All: Hear our prayer.

Hasten, heavenly father, the coming of your kingdom, and grant these
petitions which we offer in the name of your son, our Lord and saviour Jesus
Christ. Amen
